GLORY CLOUD ALERT!!!
In case you've missed it, all the rage at Bethel Church is these so-called, "glory clouds". They claim that this "cloud" of supposed gold dust is the actual presence of God. Question again: Is Jesus enough?
Here's is Bill's explanation of these so-called, "Glory clouds".
Justin Peters
1 Thess 5:21 "But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good" We should never take somebody's word when it comes to an 'experience" or a "vision" or a "word from God". Remember, if it doesn't line up with Scripture, you can't say for sure that it's from God .

Where's the Cross?
Are you looking for a "sign" or a "wonder?” Read your Bible.
Do you want to walk in "power"? Then preach the Gospel.
The fact that God uses man to deliver His message of Salvation, is a miracle in and of itself. (1Corinthians 1:21)
And the fact that you have a Bible is a miracle as well. Do you know how many men and women have died so that we could have the written Word of God in our hands? We have it made these days in America, compared to what Christians face in other parts of the world both today and over the course of the last two thousand years. In America, it is difficult for Christians to comprehend how many lives have been martyred, how much blood has been shed, so we could have God's Holy, written Word. It's amazing!
Do you want another "sign" or "wonder?” Look around you. Creation itself is a huge sign and wonder, which testifies to the glory of God. In Romans 1:18-20 (ESV), we read:
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature; have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse."
People are without excuse, every person. They know God exists but they suppress that truth with their sins against Him. Another miracle, which is a manifestation of God’s grace, is the fact that God hasn't taken your life today for the sins you've committed against Him, today.
What about the cross? The greatest "sign" and "wonder" ever revealed to man is the incarnation of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. The fact that He came to earth as a poor, humble servant; that He never sinned; that He knew from eternity past that He would one-day shed his innocent blood and die on the cross; and that He would take the punishment for the sins of His people; that He would absorb the punishment and wrath of God for us on the cross; that He would then die, and be raised again the third day, defeating death once and for all so that we could have eternal life with Him is AMAZING! And for those who repent, turn from their sins, and put their trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins, salvation belongs to them. They will be saved WOW! That's beautiful, isn't it? So for God to take a person with a heart of stone and miraculously turn it into a heart of flesh is an even more amazing miracle than creation itself. Ephesians 2:4-5 tells us:
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved".
How in the world can you, a spiritually dead person, do anything to cause yourself to believe in God? You can't. And that’'s why salvation is a miracle.
Folks, we don't need "new revelation." Jude 1:3 says:
“"Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints."
We see in 2 Timothy that we don't need anything else!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
We don't need angel feathers, or gold fillings, or diamonds or gems appearing randomly. We don't need to take trips to heaven. Not to mention we're not told in the Bible to be looking for these things. We don't even need things to appear out of thin air! We don't need to focus on anything other than the One True God. All those other things do is take our focus and attention off the cross, and focuses our attention on what we think we can get from God - or what’'s in it for us. The Bible tells us in Mathew 6:20 to "store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, not on earth"- as these things will fade away. Romans 5:8 "but God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." The cross of Christ is the best demonstration of God's Power ever, don't neglect it.
Do you have a "faith of amazement" or a "saving faith"?
In John 2:23-29 we read, "Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs that he was doing. But Jesus on His part did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people and needed no one to bear witness about man, for He himself knew what was in man. "
Notice that many believed in His name when they saw Him perform miracles, but He didn't believe in them for He knew their hearts! In other words, believing in the miracles won't save you, and it doesn't always cause someone to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Christ alone saves us! He chooses us first.
1 John 4:19 "We love Him, because He first loved us".
God didn't create the world and humans because He was bored and lonely. He didn't create the world and humans because He thought we were something special. He created the world and the human race knowing full well that we would sin and rebel against Him. He knew that before time began. He knew that He wanted to demonstrate some of His attributes such as Grace, Mercy, Wrath, and Kindness. He knew that when man fell, they'd bring with them pain, sickness, suffering, and death. He knew these things because He is the infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God. So, knowing people would fall, He allowed it so that He could get all the glory whether it be in their pain, their death, sickness or health. He wants us to be dependant on HIM ALONE! Even in our sickness, our pain - even during good times. He wants all the Glory that is due Him. After all, He created the world, and the universe. Doesn't He rightly deserve to have His creation worship Him, no matter what we have or get? If we were stripped bare of all our materialistic things, and didn't have anywhere to call home, He'd still be worthy of our praise.
So, am I against someone being healed or freed from pain? Of course not, that would be ridiculous and un-loving. But what I do know is that its not always Gods will for us to be fully well/healed while here on earth. If that were the case then everybody would be healed all the time, right? I believe that someday we will be fully healed, but only when were in the presence of the Lord, the split second after we die. And I'm ok with that, my sins are forgiven first and foremost and I know that whatever illness or pain or trial or tribulation comes my way, I can rest in the promises of God. Read this verse in Exodus 4:11
"The Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?" Who is in control of your sickness? God is!
Look at what Jesus says in John 16:33 (NASB)
"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." Our comfort is in Christ alone!
So here's my question I'd like to ask -
Where is the cross? And when's the last time you've heard the Gospel preached, completely?
Please don't get caught up in the gifts and forget about the Giver - the Creator. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:21-23 :
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'"
Those are some of the scariest, most sobering words in the Bible. Ask yourself this question: “What good will it do if some one is healed here on earth and their sins aren't forgiven on the day they die?” Imagine the shock and horror for the person standing before God who says, "But God, I was healed , My cancer was removed or my arm was healed! " Only to hear God say, " Depart from me, you sinner."
What people need is Righteousness - not man'’s righteousness; but the Righteousness of Jesus Christ. We need our sins forgiven! Does God guarantee that our bodies will be free of disease and sin? Yes, but not until we're with Him in Glory. He may choose to heal us here, if thats His will, but He may not. We're still affected by the fall of Adam and Eve, and we're still here on earth, in our sinful, human bodies. We're not yet perfect; but if our sins are forgiven, when we stand before God forgiven because of Christ’'s sacrifice on the cross, we will be with Him for all eternity. Please, don't forget the cross.
Matthew 7:13-14 (NASB)
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."
There is only One Way that leads to eternal life, not many, and that is through the God-man, Jesus Christ. John 14:6 (NASB)
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."
The Scriptures say that Jesus became sin for us, He didnt become a sinner like us, He merely was our representative on the cross.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)
"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (See Hebrews 2:9 and Galatians 3:13 as well) How amazing is that?
So please, read the Scriptures, study diligently. Be like the Bereans and check everything you hear with the Word of God. When some one tells you something in church or elsewhere, and says it's from God, test it according to His Word. If something doesn't match up with Scriptures exactly, you can't definitively say it's from God. And if someone tells you otherwise and not to worry about it, run, run as far away as you can. We are told in 2 Peter 1:16-20 that we are to trust the more sure Word of God over our experiences, over stories. Don't trust your gut, your feelings; trust the Bible as your Authority, your Standard.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-39 (ESV):
"And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’"
That's the reason for this site. It exists because I love God and I love my neighbor. I am concerned about some of the doctrines being taught these days. Therefore, my goal in creating this site is to make people aware of what's going on and what's being taught in some of our local churches. Are you being taught about the cross, about the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you being taught the Word of God and not just a bunch of stories? Are you learning about the power of the cross, how to die to self daily, to despise sin and how to serve Him? Remember: "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."- not stories.
Please don't forget the cross. Don't forget the sacrifice that Christ made on that cross 2,000 years ago. It's a matter of life and death.
If you have any questions please go to the "contact" tab and send me an e-mail, I'd love to hear from you. For a more thorough understanding of who God is, who Jesus is, and the Holy Spirit, please read the Athanasian Creed.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (NASB)
"Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,
by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"

What is Biblical discernment and why is it important?
by John Macarthur
"In its simplest definition, discernment is nothing more than the ability to decide between truth and error, right and wrong. Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically.
First Thessalonians 5:21-22 teaches that it is the responsibility of every Christian to be discerning: "But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil." The apostle John issues a similar warning when he says, "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). According to the New Testament, discernment is not optional for the believer-it is required.
The key to living an uncompromising life lies in one's ability to exercise discernment in every area of his or her life. For example, failure to distinguish between truth and error leaves the Christian subject to all manner of false teaching. False teaching then leads to an unbiblical mindset, which results in unfruitful and disobedient living-a certain recipe for compromise.
Unfortunately, discernment is an area where most Christians stumble. They exhibit little ability to measure the things they are taught against the infallible standard of God's Word, and they unwittingly engage in all kinds of unbiblical decision-making and behavior. In short, they are not armed to take a decidedly biblical stand against the onslaught of unbiblical thinking and attitudes that face them throughout their day.
Discernment intersects the Christian life at every point. And God's Word provides us with the needed discernment about every issue of life. According to Peter, God "has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence" (2 Peter 1:3). You see, it is through the "true knowledge of Him," that we have been given everything we need to live a Christian life in this fallen world. And how else do we have true knowledge of God but through the pages of His Word, the Bible? In fact, Peter goes on to say that such knowledge comes through God's granting "to us His precious and magnificent promises" (2 Peter 1:4).
Discernment-the ability to think biblically about all areas of life-is indispensable to an uncompromising life. It is incumbent upon the Christian to seize upon the discernment that God has provided for in His precious truth! Without it, Christians are at risk of being "tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine" (Ephesians 4:14)."
Did you know that almost 40% of the New Testament deals with false teachers/teachings? Below is a small list of some of those verses that deal with such things.
Romans 16:17-18 (NASB)
Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.
For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.
Acts 20:29 - "Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them."
2 Pet. 2:1 - "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them bringing swift destruction on themselves."
Jude 1:4 - "For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord."
1 Tim. 1:6-7 - Some people have wandered away from love, a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith and have turned to "meaningless talk." "They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm."
Titus 1:10 - Paul calls some false prophets "rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers."
2 Pet. 2:3 - Some teachers exploit people with "stories they have made up."
2 Pet. 2:18 - "For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error."
1 John 4:4-6 - "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood."
Deception:
There are lots of verses in the Bible that shows us just how deceptive false teachers can be. This is why Paul tells the Thessalonian church to "test all things" (1 Thess. 5:21), and why the Apostle John says "do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1).
The following verses describe the extent of this deception, and most of them are warnings written to God's people to prevent them from being deceived.
Acts 20:29-31 - "I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears."
2 Cor. 11:3-4 - "But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough."
2 Cor. 11:13-15 - "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."
Mat. 7:15-16 - "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them..."
Mat. 24:24-25 - "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time."
Luke 11:44 - Jesus told the Pharisees that they were like "unmarked graves, which men walk over without knowing it."
2 Tim. 2:17 - Concerning some false teachers, Paul warns Timothy that "their teaching will spread like gangrene."
2 Tim. 3:13 - "...evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."
2 Pet. 2:2 - "Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute."
Deut. 13:1-4 - "If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him."
Deut. 13:6-8 - "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him..."
Philippians 1:9-11
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Ephesians 5:6-9
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
Therefore do not be partakers with them;
for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth)
Hebrews 5:13-14
For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:
preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

Here you will see Bill Johnson's latest video from Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. Apparently they have bought a huge collection of artifacts from the great faith healers, those that performed great signs and wonders! I see Billy Graham stuff in this video, I also have heard Bill say they have Jonathan Edwards preaching stool and Martin Luther's Bible. Um, those guys would all tell Bill to repent of this New-age, Gnosticism and to get back to reading his Bible I'm sure of it.

How are they true revivalists when they don't preach the Gospel of salvation?
Now, click (HERE) to see the latest edition of Charisma Magazine and their ode to Bethel Church. After reading all the articles put out by Bethel staff, ask yourself this question: Who was lifted up in this magazine? Where was the Gospel in here? If it's not in here, at all, why not? Can what they said be tested with Scripture and does what they say line up? My friends, if you're involved with this false ministry in any way, run, run as far from them and run to Christ, He's everything!
Although this could happen to anybody, from any church, this article is a sad

Because of this site and these videos I post on occassion, I get accused of being a "Pharisee" and that I'm "touching the Lord's anointed". Let me just say that I believe EVERY miracle that ever happened in the Bible! I believe EVERY prophesy in the Bible as well. And I also believe Jesus when He said in Matthew 7:15-16
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits."
Jesus wasn't talking about good deeds like feeding the poor or clothing the poor. He was talking about their doctrines and theology! Bill Johnson's "fruit" is bad and we should therefore reject him as a true man of God.
The MOST LOVING thing I could do would be to warn people of this false doctrine. Flee to the Savior, Jesus!

Bill Johnson is a False Teacher. After watching/listening to this you will soon understand why. Bill Johnson does not understand the Cross, why Jesus came to die and what He came to die for. Jesus didn't come to save our bodies, He came to save our souls, to reconcile us back to God the Father. Some points to consider:
1. Christ was made sin and not sickness or anything else. 2 Cor 5:18-21
2. Christ forgave our sins, not our sicknesses. 1 John 2:12 says, "I am writing you...because your sins are forgiven you for... His name's sake"
3. Assuming that physical healing is in the atonement were to be applied today, eternal life must also be applied today with the acquisition of immortal bodies.
Christ cared for the cause of sickness: sin
Bottom line, if you add anything else to the work of the cross, healing, wealth, deliverance of demons etc. you're preaching a different gospel that Paul so clearly warns about in Galatians.
